Commercial Battery Storage — Purpose-Built for Your Business
SigenStack for large C&I. SigenStor for smaller commercial. Reduce demand charges, protect against blackouts, and make the most of your solar.
Choose the Right System
PSC Energy installs both — the right choice depends on your storage requirement.
SigenStack
DC-coupled C&I battery built for serious commercial loads
SigenStack's modular architecture means you start at 48 kWh and scale to megawatt capacity as your business grows — no rip-and-replace, just add modules. DC-coupled design at 1,250 V delivers ~95% round-trip efficiency, materially better than AC-coupled alternatives.

All-in-one battery for small commercial and hybrid sites
SigenStor's 5-in-1 design combines solar inverter, battery, EMS, and optional EV DC charger in one compact tower — perfect for shops, offices, medical practices, and small manufacturing. NSW battery rebate eligible.

Every SigenStack module carries its own internal fire extinguisher. Most commercial battery systems have one per ~200 kWh of capacity. That's not a small difference — SigenStack passed an extreme thermal runaway test in July 2025, demonstrating 60-second faster detection and 160× greater precision than container-based systems.

Start at 48 kWh. Scale to Megawatts.
Add modules in 12 kWh increments without replacing your inverter. One system can grow from a 48 kWh pilot to a multi-megawatt installation as your energy needs expand. No crane required — a full stack installs in approximately one hour.

Three Ways Battery Storage Pays Off
Demand Charge Reduction
Discharge during peak tariff periods to shave maximum demand — reducing demand charges that can account for 30–50% of a commercial electricity bill.
Solar Arbitrage
With NSW feed-in tariffs at 4.8–7.3 c/kWh and grid rates at 28–33 c/kWh, storing excess solar for evening use delivers 3–7× more value than grid export.
Blackout Protection
Keep production lines, cold storage, EFTPOS, and critical equipment running through grid outages. SigenStack maintains continuous output through full blackouts.

Commercial Battery Storage FAQs
SigenStack is a DC-coupled modular commercial battery system from Sigenergy. PSC Energy installs it for businesses requiring 100 kWh or more of storage — warehouses, factories, large commercial facilities. It scales from 48 kWh per inverter up to megawatt capacity with up to 100 inverters in parallel.
SigenStor is an all-in-one battery system suited to smaller commercial applications under 100 kWh. It's NSW battery rebate eligible and includes an optional EV DC fast charger (12.5 kW or 25 kW). PSC Energy installs SigenStor for shops, offices, medical practices, and small manufacturing. Each unit provides up to 48 kWh; multiple units can be combined up to 960 kWh.
Demand charges are levied by electricity retailers based on the peak power draw recorded in a billing period. A battery system can automatically discharge during these peaks, reducing the maximum demand figure and cutting a significant portion of commercial electricity bills. Demand charges often account for 30–50% of a commercial electricity bill.
NSW feed-in tariffs are 4.8–7.3 c/kWh (IPART 2025–26 benchmark), while grid electricity costs 28–33 c/kWh. Storing excess solar in a battery and using it instead of grid power delivers 3–7× more value per kWh than exporting. This makes battery storage a materially better use of surplus solar generation than grid export at current tariff rates.
SigenStor is eligible for the NSW battery rebate. SigenStack (large C&I) is not covered by the residential rebate scheme but may qualify under other ARENA or grid services programs. Contact PSC Energy for current incentive advice specific to your business type and system size.
A single SigenStack or SigenStor system typically installs in 1–2 days. Larger multi-stack systems may take 2–4 days. Grid protection relay approvals may add lead time depending on your network operator. SigenStack requires no crane — a full stack installs in approximately one hour.
