On top of the federal rebate, the NSW Government offers an incentive of approximately $36–$60 per kWh for connecting your battery to a Virtual Power Plant (VPP). This is a separate payment — you can stack both incentives.

2. NSW VPP Incentive — A separate payment for connecting your battery to a Virtual Power Plant. Your battery must be VPP-capable, installed by an accredited installer, and the property must have solar. Capped at 28 kWh.
Both incentives can be claimed together — they don't overlap or cancel each other out.
